Hi Everyone,
Could you please pray for my ds who will be having dental surgery this morning to remove all 4 of his wisdom teeth? Please pray for a complication free surgery and recovery (no excessive bleeding or infections/dry sockets, etc.).
Thank you so much and God bless!
PLEASE SEE 3rd UPDATE, BELOW

Hi Everyone,
We got home from the surgery a short while ago. Apparently, the dentist had to break the two lower teeth into two pieces in order to remove them from ds's jaw because of the way they were positioned , so he bled a little more than average during the surgery. Ds is still dealing with bleeding, which the dental office said could go on for the next several hours. Right now, ds has packed the back of the jaw area with tea bags, which are supposed to help with clotting. Could you all please pray that the bleeding soon stops?
Thank you all so much for your prayers!

Poor thing, I'll keep praying for him
How scary, I was told at my last appointment that I should have all my widom teeth removed. I'm sure I'll get it done soon, but obviously I've avoided for years

Why did God even give us wisdom teeth? I will keep him in my prayers. It sounds traumatic!

Hi Everyone,
Ds developed a "dry socket" over the weekend in the lower left area where one of the teeth was removed. He has been in a great deal of pain. We just got back from the dentist, who packed the area with some medication and sutured it up. Please pray that the area will heal well, that the pain will diminish, and that ds will be able to eat something. Due to tha pain, he has been unable to eat anything (just liquids) since the surgery last Thursday, and he is one hungry teenaged boy
Thank you all so much for your prayers!

Will keep praying. Something that happened with our teen, in case it helps. She wasn't eating much for several days because she was so afraid of the pain, and she also developed a dry socket. When we called we were scolded because they specifically put it in the instructions that she as to eat a NORMAL DIET as soon as possible, we weren't supposed to put her on soft foods for too long which we did. They said putting them on a normal diet asap would help with the healing process. So we tried that and she was fine after a day.

Well, I took ds in to the dentist today. A visual exam and X-ray confirmed an area of exposed bone at the site of the wound, so he definitely had a dry socket. The dentist needed to pack medication into it and suture it closed so that the gum is now over the bone. The novacaine has worn off at this point, and ds says he is feeling much better. It is a little sore where the suturing was done, but he is saying it is *nothing* compared to what it was over the weekend! The dentist was pleased to see that the other 3 sites have healed up very nicely, it was just this one area in the lower left jaw. Hopefully, this should take care if it!
Thank you all so much for your prayers and concern
