Immediate prayers needed!
Jen (mackfam) has just written that they took a direct hit from a tornado. It hit the house about 15 min ago and they have no power. They are all ok and the house is intact. Different tornado in the area where her husband is at work. Please pray for them as more cells are are coming their way.
Our Lady of Prompt Succor, pray for the residents of Alabama. Keep them safe and secure.

We've had tornadoes and I know where my cousin lives in Arkansas was dealing with some as well.
I hate to hear Jen is having to suffer w/ these weather conditions so close to home.

Thank you all for prayers!!! We're fine, though the house sustained some (relatively minor) damage. Power is back on!
I was standing on my front porch watching the storm move to the south of us. It had been tracking away from our home. Right after I took this picture I looked up and saw the upper clouds swirling fast and moving toward me and I ran and got the kids to the closet just in time.
Please continue to pray! The storms earlier today have devastated this area. It has been a day of tornado outbreaks and there is damage everywhere around us. More tornadic storms are coming!!! These storms are moving toward us from Mississippi and that's where Angel and her family are, so please keep Angel and her family in your prayers as well as the many folks affected by these storms today. The damage I'm seeing is just devastating.

I was thinking about you, Jen, when we clicked away from our Memphis station to the Weather Channel and saw all the preliminary damage photos from northern Alabama. Glad to hear you're ok!!!!! And I'll keep praying -- for everyone. My mom and dad are near Jen's area as well.
I thought we were done here - finally  - since the sun has been out for an hour or two, but it looks like there are more storms popping up. The sirens have been going off sporadically for 3 days now. No actual tornadoes for us in our town; right now our main problem is flooding. I think the latest rain total for our town is approaching 10 inches in the past 24 hours? Creeks are all out of their banks, and everyone is just sort of waiting to see how bad flooding along the Mississippi will get in the coming weeks. We are on a hill, but there are so many roads around here that are flooded and closed.

Oh, no, just logging on and seeing this. How terrifying! I used to live in tornado land, and seeing that picture just brings back the awesome power of those tremendous storms. I am praying now to St. Michael and our Lady of Perpetual Help for protection of lives and property in the South, and especially for the holy angels to guard and protect the 4Real members who are in the path of these storms.

Still praying for Jen, as I see a bad storm is moving through her area right now. And also -- praying for the people of Tuscaloosa, AL, just hit hard by a large tornado.

I am so glad you both updated! I have been thinking of both of you all day! My heartfelt prayers are going up for all of the 4Real members living in these areas!
Wow, Jen...you are such a Cmish homeschooler...taking pictures and REALLY experiencing nature! 
Angela, its a little different from NY, isn't it? I hope you have an easy storm season!
