Wow! This is so complicated that I am not sure that I can even attempt to explain it. We are applying for a new Visa since my dh's company has been sold. Not to difficult (except for all the paperwork)!

But there is a complication. And on top of that, my dh told me that the last time we entered the country (June 2010), the immigration officer stamped the passport of my dd and myself with a visitor stamp and most likely my ds passport as well. This stamp supercedes our residence requirement. Are you confused? I certainly am.

Please pray for all of this to go as smoothly as possible. I really am not ready to leave the country. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Update 4/8
All the paperwork has gone to the border agency. Yeah! But the wait could be up to 12 weeks. This means no passports, so no travel. And hopefully, everything will go smoothly with the application.

Update 6/1
It has been eight weeks, and there is no news! We have someone there who is trying to find out what is going on.

And we are a bit concerned for several reasons. But mostly because we have a much needed vacation scheduled for the end of June. April and May have been difficult months for us, but life goes on. It is all in God's hands. So any prayers you may offer would be greatly appreciated!
