Please pray for Philip's father, who died this evening. I have no details, just an overwhelming sadness.
As is the case with many military folks, we've gotten to know the parents, siblings and extended families of all our long-time friends from various duty stations. We last saw Philip's father when we celebrated Philip's retirement last summer... such a courtly gentleman, someone with a great sense of humor.
Please pray for his soul and for all who mourn tonight.
