I have been praying a lot lately about a lot of things in life. Mostly it boils down to trusting God completely in all things. When I am at home in private, it is so easy for me to accept what God tells me to do. Once I go out into the world, talk to my friends, think about the results of what He is telling me, it is easy for me to get off track.
Last night I went to dinner with my friends. We had a great time, but they made negative comments about other people doing things that I planned to do (homeschooling, letting God determine the size of my family).
It is so hard sometimes to follow your convictions and God's plan for your life. Please pray that I have the strength of character to follow the Lord's plan for my life. I know that His plan is the best for me and my family.

Kristin Anne, you are very dear. I respect your holy desires and will pray for your intentions. Do be gentle with yourself. Trusting God in all things is a long and challenging process for many - me for sure. The lovely ladies here are so good at praying and encouraging growth in trust  .

Praying for you...
It is hard to be around those who don't understand or respect the choices we are drawn to in this way. Sounds like you could use some friend support from those who accept and embrace those choices. Seeking out friendships in those circles will give you a place to feel supported. Not to replace older friendships but to supplement and give you a haven to live your convictions. And if that isn't possible local - we are here.

You don't know how much that means to me. That has been my problem. I love my friends, but I really wish I knew some people that have larger families especially. I am so glad that I found this forum! You ladies are awesome!

Praying for you! I am grateful for the forum and some of the elists I am on because I have found so much strength and support on them...I mean, where can you get so much SPIRITUAL support as well as friendship? Talk about chicken soup for the soul! I did end up withdrawing a little from my irl friends. We see them time and again, but I spend most of my free time with family these days. Simple was better for me. I got a LOT do do anyway
