Please pray for my mother in law, Charlotte, who is having or had a heart attack. They can't find the cause, and suspecting aortic aneurysm. We're on our way up to Pennsylvania tonight, so prayers for her and our safe journey.

You got it, Jenn! We will add her to our daily prayers to Saint John of God, patron saint of heart patients.
And, to saint Christopher and the Three Holy Kings!!

Thanks everyone for your prayers. We made it safely last night around 1:00 am. Ds was wide awake until 11:00...he was just fascinated by the night lights and sights. It was his first night road trip!
My mil is stable and doing well. Her situation is a bit perplexing to the doctors, as she is very healthy 78 yo(walks 2 miles every day), has no clogging of the arteries, heart or anything. What they have found is that she had a previous attack in the last 2 years that has created some damage to her heart, which in some way caused this episode. Some of this attack might have been brought on by all the hard work she was doing -- I arrived to a house in the process of multiple projects, in particular switching the screens and storm windows...and spring cleaning.
And the bedrooms upstairs -- guest ready, probably for weeks. I was thinking I'd have to make the beds and had to do nothing. What a woman! I pale at comparison!
She will remain in ICU overnight, and they are continuing observation and monitoring, getting the right medications, etc. She won't be released until Thursday at the earliest.
The biggest prayers she needs it the pyschological area...this is hard to accept. She's a very independent widow of 10 years, and quite capable. To hear that her life might change as she knows it is very scary to her.
On the bright side, ds is enjoying being at Nana's house. She has it decorated with Easter trinkets and other little collectibles all over, so he has so much eye candy. But I had a little understanding on why they are called "curios" -- they are for little curious people!

Thanks everyone for the prayers. We will remain in PA until Sunday. My mil comes home in a little while. She will have restricted exercise and no driving for 4 weeks, and then some rehab through the hospital for a while, and then all the new medications....it's a little much. Please continue the prayers for her emotional acceptance and continued recovery. This is extremely hard on her...and I do know the reality has not set in.
