Please pray for my neighbors whose home was completely destroyed by fire this morning. Another neighbor saw a small fire by the deck. By the time she was able to awaken the family and get them out 15 min later the house was completely engulfed in flames due to the strong wind. I thank God for that neighbor and for the 5 lives that were spared. May the presence of God be evident to them through others as they begin again.

Thank God for the neighbor and no loss of life. My mom's place burned so I understand and pray for the family as they have to sift through precious memories and have to start again.

Thank you so much. Nothing in the house was salvageable.
I think they are in the process of finding a rental home until theirs is rebuilt.

As for the neighbor who awoke them, she called over the weekend and is feeling bad she didn't see the fire sooner so that maybe the house could be spared. She is such a kind lady! I reminded her she helped save 5 lives. The winds were so bad that night I think one would have had to be standing in the exact spot with a garden hose to save the house.
