My husband just called. He just got laid off. We're numb. Please pray for us!

Update: We are still reeling from this. We had to let the house we were buying go. I'm sad but not distraught. We need to pray very hard that the buyer for the old house is able to straighten things out with her bank FAST so we can close on that soon.

With the severance and unemployment and what we get from the house we will be ok financially for a little bit if I scrimp and save. Which is no big deal as I'm very frugal anyway (cheap my family would say )

Please say a few extra prayers for my poor dh. This came from nowhere and he as the provider for our family is hurting tremendously. Letting the house we were buying go hurts him more then me. I've tried to reassure him that everything will be ok and that I don't blame him as he keeps apologizing to me for this.

I trust in God to continue to provide and protect our family and am thankful that for the moment we are comfortable and still have an apartment to live in!
