Very early this morning, the feast of All Souls, John's dad, Marc Berquist passed away. Laura and three of his children (Margaret, Theresa & Richard) were with him when he died. Last week all of Marc's children and grandchildren were able to be with him. He received the sacraments shortly before he died. Please pray for the repose of his soul and the consolation
and comfort of his family. Thank you.

Please offer prayers for Marc Berquist, husband of Laura Berquist (founder of Mother of Divine Grace School) Here is a message I received today:
The news from Maggie this morning was that the doctors have said her dad has hours to live. For those who have been through a similar situation, you know that they might be right but they might not be -- but regardless, this is a difficult time for him and the family.
Marc is a man of great faith and so is Laura. She always talks about encouraging her children to pray for the gift of final perseverance and to presume nothing.
