My mother's heart feels very moved lately to pray for all those families who may have loved ones who've gone astray. We have been there in ways we could never imagine (still are in some ways)....there is no more powerful way to live in union with Divine Mercy than to pray a loved one home to our Lord! If any of you struggle with a loved one who is wounded or lost, do not despair, entrust them to the Good Shepherd...He will leave the entire flock and go to the ends of the earth to rescue your beloved lambs. Place your hope and faith in Him! Pray! Hope! Trust! Hold Fast! Keep the Faith! As parents, we have all gone astray, one way or another.....if our dear beloved ones follow a path we might not have chosen for them, we must pray, pray, pray them home to our Lord and Savior! If ever you feel alone or cut off from the Mystical Body because of mistakes in your life or in the lives of someone you hold dear, just remember, our precious Lord and Saviour has a tender heart for sinners...each and every one of us. Praying tonight, and most especially on weekends, for all those souls who are lost and need to find their way Home! We will be praying for all the intentions of our 4Real family and taking them with us this coming weekend to St. John Cantius in Chicago, and before the relics of St. John Bosco, at the parish that bears his name. You are all ever in our hearts and in our prayers.

This is such an important and beautiful prayer intention. Sometimes it seems as though the people we love will never ever find their way home to the Church...but I've seen true miracles happen, through the prayers of devoted wives and husbands and children and parents and friends.
You never, ever know whether your actions or words will be the impetus for change in someone else. (I am finding this out as strangers come to my home to work...their journeys are varied and amazing and heartbreaking and inspiring, but because they intersect with my own, I am very mindful right now of what I say and do, knowing they are in my home and can hear my words, see how I interact with my family and look at the crucifix on my wall. It is an amazing experience, to talk with my contractors...please pray that I will be a good witness of our holy Faith to them.)

Thank you, dear .
Our family prays daily for "our loved ones away from the Church" as my dh and I know first-hand the pain and suffering of this estrangement .
(I love St. John Bosco!)
Love,

Yes, praying for this intention.
Praying for these souls is so important that our Lord spoke in parables such as the Lost Sheep and Prodigal son about how heaven rejoices at their coming back. Keeping those who have gone astray or who have never known God at all in my prayers!

Thank you, Servant for posting this. I am dealing with this right now and it touches me deeply to be reminded of the Lord's great Mercy and compassion for sinners. St John Bosco pray for us.
Many Blessings to you,
Dina

One of the greatest blessings of the pilgrimage we made to the relics of St. John Bosco was hearing an incredibly beautiful version of the Divine Mercy Chaplet sung in Spanish, while lines of people passed by, lovingly venerating the relic...an envelope containing petitions for all the souls at 4Real, was pressed upon the glass of the casket reliquary, lifted up in prayer afterward, then left in a petition box for continued prayer. Later, we prayed at St. Mary of the Angels in Chicago, beseeching our Blessed Mother, all of God's holy angels and saints to intercede on behalf of all the intentions brought here with such hope and trust, especially for the most lost or forsaken souls. A beloved priest from the St. John Cantius community passed away, while we there for two special Masses...he died during their 9:00 am Mass, which is same the Mass he usually offered many Sundays. All of this happened while the parish was beginning a prayer apostolate for priests at St. John Cantius. What a fitting and timely reminder to pray for all our priests faitfully. Continuing to pray for all those families whose family members are lost or have gone astray....may our Lord, the Good Shepherd, immerse them and us in His Divine Mercy!
