Long time no see, ladies. I finally am getting back online and around to some of my old haunts lately...

And we are in need of prayers...

We still own our old home in NC, since we moved out here to OK in 2008. It is under contract, and we were due to close on Friday of last week. Last Weds, I got a phone call that they weren't going to be able to make that date. Today I spoke with them, and they said that they were trying one more avenue, and then we would talk about other options (owner financing, etc).

PLEASE PLEASE pray that the loan (or whatever it is) that would enable them to buy it outright, immediately, will work out. They will know later today, so please, send up the prayers (we are making it each month, but only "just", and we need the small profit from this sale to prep for winter as well as pay off some debts).

Thanks...I really do appreciate it...and will let you all know how it goes...

Thanks, still no word.

Things have been so stressful around here anyway. DH's VA decision this spring was not what we had hoped, so he's appealing...that came at the same time his civilian job switched, and now he's working shifts again (currently, midnights--next he's on relief for two months). We are 'asking'/under contract for less than the house is worth, frankly, but we cannot afford to haggle. We will still make "something" over what we owe on it, eventually, but we still need some funds *now*.

Going into cc debt just to make it through til the VA decision came was what we "had" to do at the time, but now...well, the interest is killing us. We want to pay off at least two of them with the proceeds from the house, but you all know how that goes. And if we don't sell the house...well, its more stress that DH/I definitely do *not* need right now.

Thanks again for the prayers, ladies...
