UPDATE BELOW!!
I am due Sept 25th with our little boy, but am already at 4cm and 0 station, have been hanging out like this for 4 days now and wow, it feels weird! (my other deliveries were "late", some induced, and I've never ever been dialated at all until real labor set in!! )
I have two bleeding disorders which cause excessive bleeding during delivery and for weeks after. Please pray that the new protocol which the Drs are trying will work, and that I will be able to nurse this little one easily, (side effect of meds is no milk production  )
and that I will also be able to avoid a central line for the transfusions.
thank you so much for the prayers, and know that during labor I will be offering up for all of your intentions here.
***UPDATE: Isaac Vincent arrived on the Feast of St. Matthew Sept 21, at 8:18 am. 8lb, 10 oz, 20 in. Labor and Delivery were SO peaceful, it was very beautiful. i feel like I never had a "transition", I woke at 3:30 in the morning with steady, spaced apart contractions, and labor stayed like this until my water broke at 10cm. Three pushes later, and daddy delivering (SO cool!) and he was out! almost a home like birth in the hospital!
So far the bleeding has been on the heavy side but not unbearable- I did stay in the hospital the full 48 hrs to get me off to a good start meds wise, and will be going back in on monday.
