Ladies as some of you may remember it will be the 2nd anniverssary of my dear friend Patrice's dh Pat passing on sept.21st .
She so appreciates those prayers and each yr brings new challenges etc. this yr she said she is learning to be alone . The first yr was concentration on family life adjusting 9 children to thier lives without Dad etc.
Patrice has many wonderful friends but she says she feels she also really needs now to learn to just have her own self be in her own life with her . Of course many freinds feel they are being helpful asking her when and if she shall find someone .
I guess I was sort of shocked by that as both my grandmother and mother were/are single women and lead wonderful lives since being widowed /single .
I think Patrice found this hard she wishes to be polite but shocked as well by this expectation . not that she is not open to whatever or whoever God has planned in her journey but she is finding contentmnet and peace being herself in the life God has given her . Being alone does not mean one is lonely

again she is ever so graeful to know You have her & family in prayer .
