My dd starts her first week of college this week . Please pray for her safety and a smooth transition into this new stage of life! And for me, because I already miss her .

I'm praying for her (of course!) and for all of her friends who are also starting or returning to college....and for all 4Real moms and their adult children who are in a similar boat .

What a time in a young person's life! ... and all that is before them, the good times, the challenges, and the opportunities for growth in virtue! I remember my own sending off to college, not a dry-eye to be seen. I've no doubt that my own parents felt the intensity of emotions spanning the spectrum between sheer joy and being terrified.
