Could you please pray for Conner, a great teen who has been my neighbor for over 6 years. I haven't talked with his mom yet but another neighbor told me that he was hit by a car last night, leaving him seriously injured. The car's driver fled the scene. Conner was air evacuated  .

Thank you to all who have prayed. Great news! Conner is recovering with a bright prognosis.
I only talked with his mom for a minute this morning but she told me something funny. She said she knew he was going to be OK when, while being brought into surgery, he said, "Mom, they're not going to cut my hair, are they?"
I'll share more details if I get them, about his recovery and the case, but please keep praying for Conner and his family, especially his mom who must be exhausted.

Conner was able to go back to school this week! He is on crutches (several broken bones) but his head injury is fine - Praise God!
I was walking our dog when I saw him getting into his van for school. He was wearing a fake mustache  . This kid is something else...always a smile on his face...always eager to engage others in a friendly manner.
No word on the hit and run. I saw his scooter that was bent - yikes. And the car left behind a rear view mirror. Praise God there were 3 people in the area who saw it happen and called the police right away.
Please pray for justice to be done. This happened outside of a school/park area and I can't help but guess that it was another teen who was driving (the area is a teen hang out.) Pray for the driver's soul. Justice served can help all involved.
