A friend's goddaughter is single and due with her first child within the next few weeks. The baby has anencephaly and isn't expected to live very long after birth. Please pray for baby and mom. She is Catholic but her family is not. She courageously chose life for her child against the advice of her family. She feels very much alone right now so I thought others might want to accompany her on this journey through prayer. She has been dealing well with the diagnosis thus far and has focused on this precious time she has spent carrying her child but it has started to take a toll on her with her due date fast approaching.

Please pray for Haley and Baby Brayley.

At the end of pregnancy myself, dealing with stressors is so hard, yet I have no reason to think I won't go home with a live, healthy baby even if the things I'm most anxious about happen. Can only imagine how much harder it is for her

I don't know where she is located but there is at least one prenatal hospice for moms and babies who may not live long. Se may already be aware of this. If she hasn't already, she should check out benotafraid.com for info and support.

I will be praying for her.

Haley has been very encouraged by your prayers and kind words. We are hosting a donations drive to help her with medical bills and funeral costs.
