Hi there! I am expecting our fourth child in 6 weeks as well as starting to homeschool my oldest in first grade with her brother tagging along (he's only 4-1/2 but wants to do work like sister).
I just need some uplifting these last few weeks. This has been a very difficult pregnancy with regular and sometimes debilitating panic attacks. I finally realized (after lots of prayer this week) that I was praying for healing but that's not what I need right now. I need to pray for strength to trust the Lord and to continue this path until I am fully submitted to him. I just feel convicted that my healing will only come through submission to His will.
Thank you,
Lara

Good to see you here, Lara. Absolutely praying! (I'm also trying to increase my trust in the Lord, to develop the habit of trusting Him. I'm a bit to see so many places where I put my will ahead of His.)
Love,

and prayers. Last year was my first year and it was a real struggle and I wasn't even pregnant. Now here I'm starting my 2nd year expecting baby # 4 in 8 weeks so I know where you sit. Lots of deep breaths, loads of prayer and realize your kids are soo young...a very little bit of school (and a lot of nothing when you're not 100%) is OK!! May God grant you the strength you need each hour of each day.

Praying for you. I know how you feel. Kathryn's advice is great, your little ones are young and don't need a full round of studies evry day when you aren't fully up to it.
We end up doing some catch up in Summer months, schooling throughout the year. You are not a failure at homeschooling if you don't accomplish all you hope to on the schedule you hope to. My dear, sweet mother was telling me all this and more just a couple of days ago. One thing she always reminds me of is how much they learn just by being together and helping out with brothers and sisters, and household chores, etc.
I'm just now feeling a sense of renewal, and getting back on track for the year. Things do tend to catch up after a "downtime". I have learned to try to be at peace with circumstances as they are, imperfect as they are to how I would like them.
God bless you, and give you just what you need!

Thank you for the support. My only major goal is to move the reading and math along this year and everything else can wait if need be. I envision a lot of days nursing in bed as she sits with me and reads (sounds lovely to me) as long as I can get the two boys interested in something else.
I feel very supported, thank you!

Here's a for you, Lara. There's probably not a one of us here that doesn't face this down at some point!!
You're very wise! There is tremendous peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding, in living out His will. It might not be easy or comfortable or idyllic...but it is PEACEFUL if it's where HE WANTS US TO BE. I'm praying that you find peace in His plan for your family right now!
As far as homeschooling, Kathryn and the other ladies are so right, you can relax a bit there! There are supernatural life lessons that the children witness when mom brings a new baby home - don't discount the value of those!
