Update:

The surgery went well. We are home now. However, the surgery indicated that I will need a more invasive surgery soon, which we have scheduled for September. Please keep us in prayer as I recuperate from this one. The house has completely fallen apart (I left it clean...but in less than 24hours...uh...you get the idea)...and I think dh is at a bit of a loss. Guess moms are important in the grand scheme of things.

Please keep us in prayer as recupertion occurs--and pray that we can get some school work done in the next few weeks.

Your prayers lifted me up last Wednesday. We had a lot of peace and a wonderful experience.

Hi Moms,

Please keep my family in your prayers as we travel on Monday to the PPVI for me to have surgery.

My surgery time is set for 10:30am (CST) on Wednesday, August 4th.

We are asking for the special intercessions of St. Philomena, Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, and St. John Vianney (his feast day).

Please pray for our surgeon as well.

And our return trip on Friday, which, with two, 2+ hour flights, promises to be a bit tricky. Hopefully, the pain-killers really work. And the kids are well-behaved.

Yes...we have...BUT...

I do have to say that our experience at the Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE was AMAZING. Granted, it is not easy trekking from FL to NE with children and care-taker in tow...BUT...it was such a grace-filled and peaceful time. The staff at the PPVI blew us away. I had heard that they are wonderful...but our experience was just outstanding. I have NEVER had a medical experience like that. Everyone is so faithful and thoughtful...at the same time, everything is so scientific and logical. It is just amazing. I truly believe the Lord has blessed the PPVI because they work within the realm of the teachings of the Magisterium...so of course, the Lord is giving them so many graces and blessings.

Thank you all for your prayers!! We so greatly appreciate it.
