I'm asking for prayers for my brother - the same brother I posted about losing his vision due to eye surgery.
While his vision has improved slightly, he has been ill and the finally discovered what is wrong with him. He has a virus in his heart, and now only has 45% working heart muscle due to the virus, which will be lifelong. While running full body scans to discover what was wrong, them discovered 2 spots in his colon they believe to be cancer.
He is going for a biopsy for the possible cancer Tuesday {Tomorrow} Morning, and still trying to recover from the virus in the heart. It's harvest and he is having to contract everything out for the farm as he is under Dr. orders to never get hot again - it would likely kill him. His two youngest kids just went to spend 2 months with their biological mother as well who has a history of abusing them {long story - we're tried to get her rights severed} and he is terribly worried she won't bring them back.
Please pray that it's not cancer, his heart strengthens and he recovers, and the kids come back quickly safe and not abused.
While you're at it you might throw a few prayers in for his conversion - he's not a Catholic {Baptist and Mason to boot - I am the only Catholic in the family thanks to converting}.
UPDATE: 6/8 - His colon biopsy was postponed until the Cardiac Dr. saw him today - they discovered clots in and around his heart. When Cardiac saw him today they re-did the heart function test - he is now functioning at 30%. They are going in tomorrow to place stents/ do a heart cath and see what can be done to improve the heart function. They are also putting in a PICC line to make blood draws easier. Everything is functioning on how much his heart can be helped. Please continue to pray.
UPDATE 6/10 - They did I believe an MRI or CT scan since they couldn't do the biopsy, and a miracle has happened! It's NOT CANCER! It turned out to be his spleen re-growing! He had his spleen removed over 20 years ago due to an accident. His heart is still poor, but he is doing much better on medication. Please continue to pray for improvement on his heart, and for the safety and safe return of his two children who are with their biological mother for the next 7 weeks {yes we're counting the weeks and days until they are back safely}.

I'm definately praying, I had a heart virus just over two years ago after Annuncia's birth and it was going around, a top athlete had to have a pacemaker of some sort due to the heart damage..thank goodness my heart was not permanently damaged but I struggled with the symptoms for 10 months and so did my two oldest children, so praying with great sympathy!
