I just got a call that my father-in-law, Anthony Tapp is in the hospital with congestive heart failure. He has had major heart problems for years and almost died numerous times, but God has always still had work for him to do. Please pray for him and my mil and the whole family. Dh is very close to his dad and could use your prayers mightily right now. There has been so much changing and attacking him lately. We could use a good helping of grace!
Thank you so much...your prayers mean more to us than you could know. I am just waiting right now for him to get in from work...sigh!

Thank you so much for the prayers. Dad is holding his own and going through a battery of tests. This poor man is on so many pills...and they just added more to his regimen.
What a challenging day yesterday was for my family! We had trouble with a neighbor, my 19mo ds broke my dh's glasses, this happened with my fil and we just got a wold onslaught of new medical bills...fun stuff. We feel the grace though and aren't worried or anything..just wondering where God wants us to jump next. Here's hoping that today is boring!

Wow, Angie, thank you for remembering. He is still holding his own, very weak but gaining some strength. He gets tired just from eating and needs to nap. It is odd to see this man, who has always been so strong, in this condition.
Evidently, he is on so many pills that he stopped taking them cold-turkey and threw his body into chaos and it weakened his heart even further. He is also on meds for epilepsy which he got as a result of "dying on the table" during a heart operation years ago. He says he hates feeling so drugged and "out of it". I asked him if he could find another dr. They tell me that all of his Drs are the best and this is what he has to live with. I can understand why he did what he did, more than my mil, but I am not condoning anything.
Please pray for my fil and mil...they have to work on forgiveness and such issues. Dh loves his dad so much. This is all so hard on him, but he loves going over to their house and helping them out with chores and such.
My fil should have died so many times but I guess God still has work for him to do. Maybe God wants him around to see his new granddaugher who will be here next month!
...never a dull moment...as dh says "Semper Gumby" (always flexible..coming from a former Marine. Their motto is Semper Fidelis...)
