Please pray for my father, Vincent Joseph, as he has surgery to insert an internal defibrillator this Tuesday. He already has all sorts of health problems, which increases the risk of his surgery. My dad is an emotional guy who is worried about this procedure.
He is in Chicago and I am in Tucson, AZ, which frustrates me. Knowing you will pray with me, I am feeling better already. Thank you!!

My dad's surgery today went well (though three hours later than scheduled). Praise the Lord! Thank you, wonderful ladies, so much for the uplifting words and prayers.
When I shared with my father that my "friends" around the country were praying for him, he was moved to tears. He sounded grateful and relieved after surgery 
Turns out he will need an angiogram in a few weeks because his heart is weaker than anticipated. He suffered with rheumatic fever as a child and was never expected to live long. He's made it to 70
I can't thank you enough and

I am SO glad you had your father for all of those EXTRA years! 
The same thing happened to one of the Von Trapp children........Maria???.......anyway........she ended up living past 84 years!
