Dear friends of ours have a son named Peter who has experienced major medical intervention for the past four years regarding his liver. He had several major surgeries including one which disconnected his bowel, and after finally stabilizing him with an experimental drug and allowing some months of recovery, the doctors are looking to go in and repair much of the damage.
I don't really understand it well. We've been praying for Peter for 4 years now, but it seems he needs extra prayers in the coming months leading up to a particularly risky surgery.
I blogged a bit about it here and offered a button for those who might be called to sanction further prayers for this dear boy.
You can find the most pertinent and technical information and history of his condition at his mother's blog Peter's Progress.
He doesn't have a specific disease to name which would paint that instant picture as to the severity of his condition, but this boy and his family have been fighting tooth and nail for his survival over the years, and I believe they could really use the strength of your prayers!

God bless them. I will be happy to pray for Peter and his family. It is so hard to have a sick child. May God grant them strength and hope.
