Could you just offer up a quick Ave for my ds? He is playing in his very first bagpipe concert! We are so proud of him. We couldn't afford bagpipes or lessons so he got a job and paid for everything himself and is now in the final week before the big concert.

His wonderful, very Scottish, bagpipe instructor has come down with pneumonia, however, so it's a bit rough right now as they are uncertain he will be able to play for the concert this weekend. Thanks for any prayers you can offer!

The concert was a huge success! His professor wasn't able to play but he was there for support and direction. We were so very proud of our son. Afterwards was a great afterglow party, my dh and I sat home looking at each other saying, our three teens are at a college party...what are we thinking?! It was the perfect party. Imagine lots of Irish/Scottish dancing, singing and piping going on until all hours of the night.
