For the past several months, my dh has done PT for back pain. When that didn't help, he had more tests done these past few weeks and the next step is an epidural/s. If that doesn't work, back surgery.
My suffering dh is an athlete, a triathlete by choice. About 2 years ago he had knee surgery and now is adviced not to run. Now because of his back, he is adviced not to bike  . So this all hurts in more way than one  .
Please pray for - a miracle would be great! Short of that, please pray that we can find the least invasive way for pain relief and for complete and speedy healing. THANKS!

Praying, Angie...and I know exactly what you mean about the levels of hurt. It's been very hard for my dh to give up running.

I'll pray for him Angie! My dh is in the same boat, only it's hip instead of back. These poor active guys...

Praying, Angie! Back issues are near and dear to my heart. Most of my spine is fused and I have two degenerated discs higher up (in part because so many other vertebrae were fused...). Back surgery doesn't always fix the problem. Praying that the Holy Spirit guides and heals your dh!

Praying! I've had herniated discs and problems with my 4th and 5th lumbar being rotated, NO FUN and so debilitating. Praying for healing and relief.

Prayers, Angie....my dh had back surgery last Sept.....it was so, so helpful. He was in so much pain, it is just now we can look back and think, “Oh My....that was SO hard!!!” I will pray for relief for your dh and wisdom for all who will be making decisions in his care. Keep us updated!!

Dh received word that the test results point to an epidural, ASAP. God's will be done! Please pray for helpful scheduling and for excellent care. Details will be worked out on Monday.
