First, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Easter! I hope your celebration was wonderful and will be long-lasting!
Could I ask for some prayers and some advice? I have had a migraine for about 10 days now. It started on the 27th with the worst headache I've ever had and a leg cramp that wouldn't go away. As I'm 24 weeks pregnant now, I was very reticent to take anything for pain but had to in order to function properly. The 28th, Sunday, saw me in the ER since the leg cramp still hadn't gone away and my headache was back after a brief respite. A blood test showed a possibility of a blood clot and I had to remain in hospital until the next day when an ultrasound on my leg showed no clot and I was allowed to return home. I still had a mild headache but felt fine. Tuesday, I felt great and worked on catching up with chores at home. That night, the leg pain returned and kept me from sleeping well. By morning, the leg pain was quite diminished but about a half hour after awakening, my whole right side felt numb and I was dizzy. The headache came later. I did go to the ER again but was told that I had a migraine and to go home.
The thing is, this migraine doesn't seem to want to leave! The head pain isn't bad, it comes and goes. What's more disturbing to me is the feeling of vertigo and the "pins and needles" that come and go. As I write this post, I'm feeling quite dizzy and want to lie down again although I'm really tired of lying down already!
So, my prayer request is for these migraines to go away already! and for this pregnancy to remain uneventful with a happy birth in July. And I'm wondering if any other moms here have had these kind of symptoms throughout pregnancy? This is my sixth pregnancy although my fifth ended in early miscarriage. My first three were quite uneventful except for a few "growing pains" and my fourth came with a few migraines. Since my fourth child was my first girl, I'm wondering if these migraines are hormonal and that this little one is another girl! Anyway, I'm starting to freak out a little about this and would love some reassurance.
Praying for you all...

Praying for you!
I had migraines at the beginning of this most recent pregnancy. My OB recommeded a massage and after 2 visits the headaches were gone. I haven't had one sense. Don't know if that would help, but it might be worth a try.

You can try magnesium/potassium/calcium supplements for the leg cramps
Red raspberry leaf (either as a tea or capsules) can help balance hormones and it's safe for pregnancy.. even those who are generally more cautious, only warn against it's use in the first trimester.
I find caffiene kicks a migraine. A cola more than other sources (maybe the sugar helps too?).. but I don't have hardly any caffiene at all at other times so that might make a difference. But at the first signs of it, I can drink one 12 oz cola and usually get rid of the migraine.
You could consider chiropractic care. You'd want someone experienced with pregnant women of course. Sometimes headaches are caused by a misalignment (I had a lot more migraines years ago before some misalignments were corrected)
praying for you!
