Well, at least Lily’s pneumonia is better  because now I am very busy with her brothers!!! My middle boys are needing a lot of stuff, not horrible, just busy.....my 8 yo that has the same syndrome as Lily has lost most of the hearing in his left ear  , he has flunked two hearing tests this week...and is seeing the ENT tomorrow. He has quite a bit of scaring on this tympanic membrane.....the loss is strictly conductive...so I think that is better than sensorial. I don’t know if this is permanent, or something as simple as needing a tube in that ear. We’ll know better tomorrow. At 11 yo ds and 8 yo ds checkups this week, the ped. is worried about their growth....11 yo is the size of an 8 yo....and projected to be 5’1”.....I think that is a lovely height, since that is exactly what I AM.....but, for a guy, maybe not so much. 8 yo is on the same tract.....off to the endocrinologist we go.....and the boys both need orthodics for their feet....which we hung out in the orthopedic’s office today after our hearing test....getting casts done for orthodics for one guy.....the other is to follow in a few weeks.
This is all related to,Stickler’s Syndrome, (what we have here), and is not the end of the world....but it is sure busy sometimes. I am tired, and feeling Lent rather heavily.
Praying for all of you, dear friends!! Can you offer up an Ave for us tomorrow, so we can figure out what is up with ds’s hearing? He is so worried about any more surgeries...poor guy.....

Update--good news!! The ENT thinks he probably only needs a tube in that ear, again.....( I think that is his third or fourth tube, but with kids with clefts....that happens), she saw a bunch of fluid, but nothing like an infection....she is going to give him a few months, and if it doesn’t resolve , than we’ll get another tube in that ear. He was feeling much better by the time we left. It helped that our favorite nurse, Sue, was there, doting on Lily and her brother....so, so sweet, it is nurses like that who help us along our journey!! Thanks for praying for my sweet little guy.
