Please pray for my great uncle Henry who is dying. He has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks but is now unconscious and the doc said it was the end.
But most especially pray for my Grandpa, Henry was his only brother and last living relative. He sounds very depressed. We are supposed to go over to France to visit in September and I hope that my Grandpa will stay healthy enough for us to see him then.
The distance just makes everything so much harder, sometimes...

Henry passed unto Our Lord at 1:30 am (local time) on February 18th.
He had the visit of 2 priests before he died and was very at peace. His wife's birthday was on Feb. 17th and she had "forbidden" him to die on her birthday! Another little  from heaven!
A friend of the family had sent a prayer intention for him to Lourdes, and one of his daughter had just given him a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes and he died on St. Bernadette's feast day. He was buried with the the statue as he had requested.
And one more: one of his daughter is a nurse and had always promised him to be with him when he died and she was!
God is so good!
My Grandpa is hanging in there, but must have been really moved by his death because I just received my son's birthday card from him and my Grandma and on it my Grandpa wrote "I love you". He NEVER has said "I love you" before, never... Made me cry.

Mattie, I'm catching up on posting here at We Pray to the Lord and just wanted you to know that this example of a beautiful death touches my heart. My prayers continue for Uncle Henry and all who love and will miss him.
