My friend, who is the foster mother to this child has asked for prayer today. The little girl will be going through brain surgery at 9:45 EST. The surgeon will be doing whatever is necessary to stop the draining of fluids which has caused her brain to swell. She has had to wear a helmet for the last couple of months because her skull plate was removed to allow for the swelling. They are going to replace the skull plate. So, please pray that the surgery is successful and the swelling does not re-occur. This little girl has made such huge strides. Our Lord is surely blessing her. thank you for your prayers!
Editing to add: I see my link isn't working. This is the 1 year old child I asked for prayers about a month or so ago. She was severly abused which caused brain damage. She is now in foster care.
