We are leaving tomorrow morning to take ds to his first semester of college. Yeah!

The weather here is nasty (snow, ice, wind) , and we have a 7 hour trip (minimum, in good weather). I"m particularly freaked out about black ice and road closures.

I'd appreciate prayers. We will leave first thing Saturday morning, in order to get back home for dh, who has to work Saturday afternoon. Again, ugh.

The good thing is, with 7+ hours in the car, I'll have time to pray. You all, of course, will be in my heart.

Thank you all so much. We made it, both ways, without any difficulties. Cold, yes! Like -20, but no dangers!

There were unexpected graces and provision for my son. The Lord is good! But, oh, how I miss him.....
