Pleae ladies could I ask for prayers once again?
I'm beginning to get a cold I'm afraid. My throat is scratchy and my sinus have awful pressure. Christmas is a hard enough time to get a cold but I could deal with that if I wasn't afraid of passing some ickyness onto my not quite 3 week old baby  So please pray that whatever I'm getting stops quickly or at the very least doesn't get passed onto the baby.
Thank you and if I don't get back here before the boards close Merry Christmas to all you wonderful women! 
Dec. 26th...still could use prayers! On Christmas Eve my husband had to take me to the doctors...I couldn't even sit up to nurse my poor baby my head was so bad. I have a bad sinus infection and am miserable. I am so afraid of passing this onto the baby! I am reassured by reading on-line that breastfeeding does help protect the baby even from Mom's sickness so I'm praying very hard that this is true for us!

Thank you all. I am finally on the mend. Today is the first day where I feel semi-human. I'm very sad that I was sick for dd's first Christmas season but I can't do anything about that!
Unfortunatly Marie-Therese came down with a cold it's not terrible and I think Momma is more affected about it then she is. But it's still so sad to hear the little stuffed up nose and the cough.
So continued prayers for health for our household is appreciated! I can't wait until we're healthy and back on our feet again!

I'm glad you are better -- and I think it's true about the breastfeeding immunities -- at least, it seemed to work that way for my littlies.

I'm so glad Angie bumped this, Jen, I didn't see your update either!
My prayers continue for all of you, Jen! I'm glad you're doing better, but of course I'll pray that little Marie-Therese benefits from lots of mommy time and nursing!
