I'm begging you for prayers for my daughter, who has been suffering from trichotillomania (the pediatrician she sees wouldn't call it this, but this is what we think it is) for several months. By an act of sheer will, she kept from plucking her eyebrows and lashes for two months. Her goal was to have all her hair back by Christmas. But then she plucked all her eyelashes from one eye and half from the other. She feels ugly and did NOT want to be in this position for Christmas She is so depressed about this. She's desperate to get help, though she's already on medication and has seen a therapist (who asked several times whether she was angry or stressed and did absolutely NOTHING to help the situation). I am asking a local doctor for a recommendation of a therapist who knows how to handle this (and who accepts our insurance!). None of the therapists recommended by Anna's pediatrician really specialize in anything remotely similar. And I'm at wit's end as to what to do.

I know your prayers will lighten the cross that Anna must bear and may offer a ray of hope for her. Please, PLEASE pray!
