Headed to a new specialist today-the rheumatologist--
I have a bad flair up of rheumatoid arthritis (unconfirmed diagnosis until today)---put on heavy duty steroids to try and calm it down

They are testing also for lupus

I don't think I can take much more of this--I think I have been sick for half my life---

Oh, Joann!!! Sending many , I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this, especially the week before Christmas. I bet if they can find out the bottom line diagnosis, you will start feeling BETTER, not worse.....there are a lot of great treatments out there for lupus and RA. Hang on tight, Friend.....and be very gentle on yourself.
I have osteoarthritis, all over....I have a tiny idea of how you are feeling... I'll be offering up my crazy day tomorrow for you. Please keep us updated, okay?? More
