Please pray for my dh's colleague, who has a long-term chronic illness and has decided to let it end his life (sooner rather than later) instead of going through what would be serious but not super-drastic life-extending procedures. Today this person resigned from his job and is clearly setting about putting his affairs "in order" quickly.

This person is not religious in any way and doesn't see the value in his continued existence. Dh has tried to get him to speak with a counselor, to no avail.
Please pray for this man and for his co-workers. No one is really sure what to do, but things definitely took a turn for the worse today.
