My dh's aunt is dying. This is very hard on my dh as this was a very safe and comforting person in his childhood.
My dh is scheduled to the max with work commitments and I am a little worried about him. Things will get better after Christmas but I think we'll need some prayer to get there this year.
I am overwhelmed and usually dh is my go to person to help me keep up my spirits but I feel like I need to be more supportive of him right now or at least not add to his burden  .
Please pray for Great Aunt Bev, my dh, and for a little extra strength for myself.
Thank you, and as always, I'll be praying for all of you too.
Update -
Thank you so much for prayers - dh seems to be doing ok but he did just call me to let me know he had a student show up to his college class (Community college) intoxicated - he had to dismiss his class early and was able to deal with this person but he really thought he was going to get assaulted. Good grief! He is on his way to the hospital to get a change of clothes to his mother who has been staying with the Aunt at the hospital. Your prayers are very much appreciated.

Praying for Great Aunt Bev. My Great Aunt was a wonderful influence in my life and I can understand how hard it will be for your husband to lose her. Praying for strength and comfort for your dh, as well.

My dh's aunt died last night - the funeral will be next week.
My 13 yo is very sensitive - she has had trouble at family funeral's in the past - I hope she'll be ok. After I told the children, I later found this dd in her room crying with her Rosary - so sad yet I am somewhat heartened that she immediatley knew where to go for solace.
