Please pray for a dear friend of mine, her name is Ruth. She was hospitalized yesterday with symptoms of a stroke, which was then ruled out. They have been running tests and will perform an MRI tomorrow to find is there is a problem in the brain stem. She still has numbness in the right side of her face and left side of her body with constant head pain. Her husband is with her at the hospital and the kids are with friends.
She is a homeschooling mom with six children ages 15 to 3. The children are only vaguely aware of the situation, but obviously we are all very worried.

Oh my goodness, how awful!! There seems to be so much suffering lately...Is it just my imagination? All these mothers are suffering so...Ruth is in my prayers, Molly.

No, I'm seeing it too. I think when holy men and women suffer, the Lord wants to do great things. But it's overwhelming.
I am praying for them all.

I just received an update email from another friend about Ruth. She said that Ruth did have a spinal tap done, and everything looked normal. She was waiting on the the MRI (or CT they hadn't decided yet). There's still no diagnosis, but they certainly have ruled out many causes. She said that Ruth sounds good, just anxious to get home. Please keep praying for the doctor to be enlightened as to the cause and, of course, for her healing.

Update:
Ruth has been discharged after all of the tests have turned up nothing. She is still having symptoms and they are waiting for a referral to a neurologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital in MD.
Please continue to pray.
