You all are great prayer warriors so I come asking for prayers for two of our homeschooling moms. Dawn, my very good friend, mom to 6 beautiful children with the oldest being 10 has a lump that was supposed to be removed today, her doctor is ill so they have rescheduled her surgery until next monday.
Suzanne another friend, mom to 7 beautiful children with the oldest being 11 was just told on Friday that her cancer has spread to her bones and liver, stage 4. She had an appointment with the oncologist today. We have started a 54 day Rosary Novena for both of these women.
Thank you for any prayers you can spare.
Update 12-08-09
Dawn's surgery was postponed until last Monday, they did not find cancer in the lymph nodes, but today she found out that the cancer was larger than they thought and it was more aggressive they they originally thought. So now they are saying she will need chemo. Please pray mightly for her, she found out last Monday that she was pregnant. She had one mamagram and one xray at the very beginning of the pregnancy and now she is going to have to go through chemo.
I will update later this evening on Suzanne.
Update 12-18-09 evening
Suzanne has had all kinds of tests done. She found out that the cancer has spread to her bones and on her liver, it has not invaded her liver. She has one of the most agressive forms of cancer. She has gone to a top onocolgist at UCLA. They approached her about a control test for a new drug that is promising for the type of cancer she has. She was just told today that she was formally accepted into the test and that radomly, she is one of the 5 in her group to get the new drug, the other 5 with get the old drug. She is very hopeful. This cancer feeds off of estragen, so they have given her something to put her into menopause, she needs prayers for her sanity for the next three months as she battles the severe symptoms of memopause. She starts chemo on Monday the 14th. Thank you for all your prayers

I guess we can exchange "friends with breast cancer" prayers? 
How are your friends doing, Robynn? Did Dawn have her surgery?
I hope I can keep my friends to only one.......  .......I already did a different one 8 years ago.......she finished her treatment this week. 8 years ago.
