Hello Ladies, I am sorry I do not post much, I do read and pray for the intentions here...and even during my times away from the board you are ALL always in my prayers before the Blessed Sacrament, weekly.
I come here today to beg you to pray for my Marriage and Family. My husband wants a divorce and I do not. I have realized my sin, I have repented, I want to save our Marriage...he does not think it can be and the very WORST of it is, He has lost his FAITH. Please, please, if you can find it in your heart and time in your very busy schedules, please pray for him and for us. I am in such terrible pain and panic, please forgive any typos I may have made.
I thank you, in advance, for your kindness and even willingness to read this message and reflect on it. I sincerely pray that God will bless each of your and your families this day and this Advent season.

God bless you, your dh, and all who love you. We can all identify with the pain of realizing our own sin, repenting, and the terrible suffering and panic associated. You are not alone among your sisters in facing the possibility of divorce and the suffering of unknowing and waiting. You are worried for your dh's struggles with his faith at this vulnerable time. Yet - remember - hold onto the hope that many of Christ's followers struggle and feel lost in the desert of pain and confusion in the moment but this doesn't change the fact that Christ *IS* with us...*HE* finds us...in our pain and suffering He never leaves us and will call us to Himself in His way and His time.
Thank you for your prayers for us all and be assured that I'm praying for you and your dh. Trust all to Our Lord who loves you both and loves your marriage. Go to confession, know that you are forgiven, pray for the strength to forgive yourself and your dh completely. Find local support through prayer, a priest, a counselor, or another who affords you confidentiality in order to keep the details of your marriage close to your heart and protected. May you feel and know God's infinite mercy and love.

When I feel overwhelmed with the weight and sorrow of the path I see before me, I have taken great comfort in repeating constantly the words "Be still and know I AM GOD." HE is with you, guiding, healing, stretching. Continually turn these burdens over to Him. Turn your husband and your marriage over to Him. Remember that, even though He may not have desired whatever has led you to this moment (for we are all sinners and He does not desire sin), He has *allowed* it for a reason. He knows your every need and knows what is best for you. He will not abandon you. He will carry you through the dark hours and the panic. Be at peace and know HE is THERE. I am praying for you, your husband and your marriage!
