My little Maria is sick again for the second in two weeks. She had a fever all day on halloween, but the fever broke by Sunday morning. Now this morning she woke up with a fever again. I just took her temp. and it was 102.9 under the arm. Oddly enough, she is eating well. We bought her some grapes and she's eating quite a bit. She's also nursing well.
Please pray it's nothing serious. That is such a high fever for such a petite little girl. The rest of the family has been sick, but I always worry when the baby gets sick.
Thank you so much!

Good to hear she wants to eat and nurse Ruth, praying that she can kick off that fever and make a good recovery!

Praying in much empathy, Ruth! Just completed our latest round of fevers too. I'm beginning to think that's just how this winter is going to go.

I always actually like to see a fever. My children seem to kick things faster with a fever. The ones that are sicker longer are the ones that don't get hot. Praying she cooks those germs off soon.

oh poor thing.. the height of a fever doesn't necessarily indicate a higher level of sickness.. you can be very sick with a low temp and barely sick with a high temp.. and high temps are much safer for little ones than older ones, so while a teen with that temp would be a big worry.. a little one with that temp not so much.

Praying for your momma heart Ruth!
I agree with Jodie, that most likely in a little one that is not too high. But I do know it is scary when it is your own babe
I have been sick for a week with no temp. I think if I had a fever I would have gotten better faster

Baby is doing much better. Thank you so much for your prayers. She got worse yesterday, but recovered well by nightime and today the fever is gone.
