I ran over and killed my 4 yo daughter's kitty today. I feel terrible and there are so many tears from my little ones. I know this is small but if you could just say a quick prayer to St. Francis for their little hearts I would appreciate it.

I feel your pain- we had that in July when dh ran over our beloved family cat. He was more devastated than the kids .

Praying the intercession of St. Francis for your children! It is always difficult to lose a pet, especially when we cause it. Praying for you too--you are not a bad mommy, cats just seem to like to hang around vehicles.

Thank you, the children are feeling better. There was another outburst of sorrow right before bed, but the pain is easing. They picked some weed type flowers and laid them on the grave.

There were 4 kitties, the children named them Meg, Amy, Beth, and Jo (he's the only boy kitty) It was little Beth who died. It happened so fast, poor sweet kitty.

A terrible mother would have ran over the cat on purpose...and then felt good about it.

Yikes Maddie , sorry . You poor momma I know you must feel so sad . This sort of reminds me of our dd Jasmine now 23 put her friends hamster into a kids cloth easter egg when she was 3yo and then later on one of the kids sat on it , by accident I felt so sad for her . will say a prayer , hope a new kitty may be able to come into your home soon .
