Dear All,
I must be quick but I would ask if you would be able to pray for our House sale.
We have a lady in Western Australia who wants a B&B She has make an offer (rediculiously low, her own words) and we are negotiating.
Please pray that whe will come up to at least our minimum that we need to sell and that she is serious about this.
Of course she is making noises about it not being viable at the higher price but her initial offer was 300,000 below after she had been researching for the last 6 weeks. Knowing the around about price ( we didn't have a fixed price but "around the $" price as was suggested by our agent.
I cannot tell you how this is affecting the children, and Stephen is very stressed. So please I would ask would you be able to make this time for us.
Hopefully we can finish this stage of our lives and have a contract signed and sell very soon.
It is so hard not to be worring and hoping that this will work out for us. It has been a long time .

Praying Gae, praying this is all that you need it to be...I noticed you've posted on the feast of St Teresa of Avila, she was one saint who had a very deep devotion to St Joseph and says this:
"I wish I could persuade everyone to be devoted to this glorious saint, for I have great experience of the blessings which he can obtain from God. I have never known anyone to be truly devoted to him and render him particular services who did not notably advance in virtue, for he gives very real help to souls who commend themselves to him. For some years now, I think, I have made some request of him every year on his festival and I have always had it granted. If my petition is in any way ill directed, he directs it aright for my greater good."
So I am praying to St Joseph and St Teresa combined!

Just wanting to give you all an update, (and BEG for more prayers) Gae has asked me to post as she is too emotionally drained right now to do so.
After some toing and froing, the interested party moved by only 100,000; still hundreds of K under value. However, Gae and Stephen have counter-offered hoping she will move but not looking good, so please, pray, pray hard over the weekend.
Gae and Stephen are also taking time over the weekend to decide whether they will take the low offer anyhow if buyer does not move on price. They need to project just how much it is costing to stay, should they just sell.
Please pray for discernement and clarity.
As you can imagine not only are mum and dad's emotions are high but so are the childrens. Please pray for peace for all.

Another Update:  I've just had a phone call from one of Gae's boys. The negotiations have come to a halt. The prospective buyer has purchased a vineyard elsewhere.
I'm sure you can imagine the devastated emotions in their home. Please pray for a sense of peace for all. And continue to Storm heaven, this is such a heavy Cross, the continued separation of over three years and the financial burden.

I've been following this, but haven't had a chance to respond until now. So .....I was so hopeful! I will continue praying though, Gae! - I can imagine how down you all are after this! I'll just keep bugging St. Joseph!
