Hello. I already posted over at "Who's Expecting" thread, but I would like to post here as well. I hope that's alright. I'm still learning this.
I'm due Feb. 22, 2010 with my 9th baby. I have 7 living children with one that I lost in miscarriage right before this pregnancy. I'm scheduled for another c-secion. My last attempt at a vbac failed and they won't let me try again. I'm now 20 wks along. Anyway, at my routine ultra sound they saw that I have a complete/total placenta previa. They told me to be on total pelvic rest and to take it easy. My next doctor apt. is Oct.26th when I hope to learn more. They will do another ultra sound around 28 wks to see if the placenta has moved (doctor didn't have much hope for this) and how to proceed.
Of course I did what I shouldn't have and did a google search to find out more. I found out that with my history of several surgical procedures on my uterus I am at a higher risk for complications like placenta acrecia. I'm an anxious mess now. I would appreciate all the prayers I can get. I have already been praying to Our Lady of LaLeche, St. Gerard and dear St.Anne

Kelly, you and your little baby are in my prayers. I wear a medal of Our Lady of La Leche and everytime I take hold of it I will offer a prayer especially for your physical and emotional needs during this pregnancy. Please keep us informed.

Kelly,
I've faced this and I am praying fervently for you and for the health of this pregnancy!
May I mention a few things...
** DON'T google this anymore! Period. Ok? This will be whatever God intends it to be! Trust that! There's peace right there.
** DO guard your thoughts with this situation - God provides grace in the moment and not a moment before. Live right here in this moment and cherish every single kick and turn. Trust that God generously provides all the grace we need when we need it. Don't allow your thoughts and worries to rob you of the precious joys in today.
** DO keep up with your prenatal visits faithfully. Good care and consistent watching of the placenta are key to staying ahead of this.
** DO continue to storm heaven!
...and we'll storm with you!!!! Please don't be shy about keeping us updated if you feel you're having trouble guarding your thoughts, or if another challenge presents itself! I'm praying and I'll seek the intercession of Our Lady of La Leche, St. Gerard, and St. Anne as well!
P.S. I moved your prayer request into its own thread so that you would receive more prayer support that way.

Kelly, I will be praying for your baby and yourself through the intercession of St Anne whom I have such trust and faith in. Also St Gerard, he is a blessed saint for mothers and my birthday saint.

Kelly I'm praying for you! I too have had a few things come up in this pregnancy (nothing near your situation though) and found that if I Google I go crazy with anxiety so I've banned myself from Googleing!! You will be close in my prayers
