i was getting ready to go to my ultrasound today (and barely holding it together, mind you...) when the imaging place calls to confirm my appointment for tomorrow. No, i tell them, it is today - whoops, got entered into the computer wrong. "but it is to rule out DVT - my dr. wanted me to have it done yesterday" - sorry - can't get you in until tomorrow.

Call the other two imaging companies on our insurance.

one is full, can't get me in at any of their 7 locations.

second one - the tech will stay after her shift to do my scan (thank you nice tech!), they realize it is important. DH goes to get paperwork.

They are no longer on our insurance, even tho our insurance lists them as being.

going to them anyway, just doing cash-pay, out of network, and will hopefully get some reimbursed, but unlikely.

so did not need the extra stress.

i would very much like to find a rock to crawl under.
