Update: For some reason, Charlie did not get to go last week. There was apparently a miscommunication between the recruiter and him. He goes tomorrow (10/1), so if you could continue praying, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Would you please offer some prayers for my oldest, Charlie, today? He is at his Marine Corps physical day, where they check him over thoroughly and decide if he makes the cut to enlist. He has had problems with his knees for years, so this may be an issue.
I have mixed feelings about the whole thing, and I think he may too. He has some major issues that he needs to deal with here. I am not sure if he is running away, or if he may even be hoping they tell him no. He has always said this is what he wants. If it is what he will be happy doing, I want him to succeed.
Pray for God's will for this child. My heart is so heavy with worry. I want him to find peace with himself and life, even if that needs to be in Iraq or Afghanistan.  Most of all, I want him to return to the Faith with all his heart. Then everything else will fall into place.
