Our old house in NC has been under a "rent to own" type contract since we left in March of 08. It was under an 18mos contract that expires midnight Oct 1. The renter is having to jump through a lot more hoops to get financing than he has had to with previous investments, and so it may take longer.

Please please pray that the hurdles are cleared, quickly, and that the house is sold--and finalized!--soon, uneventfully, and as smoothly as possible (we could *really* use the money for the fall/winter expenses around here).

No word yet. I'm going to be calling tomorrow to see how things are going...but I'm not holding out a whole lot of hope for an on-time sale. Please keep praying, though, as we desperately need to get the money from this sale. Things are getting tighter all the time...
