I'm so glad you came to us, Alison! Prayers for your dear mom!!!! This is very close to my heart as my mother in law's ankle just gave out and she fell and barely escaped a serious injury! Frightening! Goodness the injury does sound painful! I'm so glad you came to us and I'll certainly offer prayers!

Oh dear, sorry I misunderstood! I'm sure the prayer got to the right place though! Thanks be to God that He's never confused!

It does sound like a very serious break. I'll pray for healing...though if it were me, sitting still for that long would be THE hardest part! Prayers for you dear Alison!

thank you all so much for your prayers.I came home Friday + am learning the merits of homeschooling from 6 week bed-rest.My ankle is a little sore at times but nothing uncopeable, the worst is insomnia at night, but I guess that too will pass.My children are amazing with the care they are giving me, it is a very humbling exprience to have to rely on help when I am a much better doer.
Anyway I really wanted to say thank you so much for your encouraging e-mails etc but especially for your prayers, this is an amazing community to be part of.
