I debated asking for prayers from you all, considering that, in the grand scheme of things, these are just nuisance colds. Not a terribly big deal. But they have followed one after the other with no break in between... and I've been sick/allergic almost constantly since the beginning of May. I think I've had a "cold" for about a month now. And this time all 8 of us are sick at the same time and my dh has an out of town trip coming up on Monday and appears to be developing his usual weekend migraine. 
If you could, I would really appreciate it if you could spare a prayer or two -- for us all to feel better, for the colds to stop coming (!), and for me, since it looks like most of the sick care is going to fall on me for the next several days.

UPDATE: Well, my dh's migraine held off until Sunday night -- which I think really is a miracle! So thank you for your prayers. Now we just have to get through the rest of today and tomorrow. I thought my 6 yo might be developing strep yesterday, but today he looks better, so... continued prayers would be appreciated!

Oh, I do understand this awful, loathsome predicament, Angela! Ugh!!!!
Sending prayers your way right now! I'm glad you let us know. Little colds seem little, but they do take a toll after a non-stop round of them all summer! Weird timing for viruses??? I was bracing for virus season for the fall and winter, but I suppose adding the suffering of your allergies has really been felt in this, too.
Anyway, many, many prayers coming! And

Dear Angela - lots of sympathy and empathy coming your way - and I will be praying all weekend. For health, for peace and for energy for you.
(and when i get a chance to sit down uninterrupted I will email you my toolbox to hopefully fight those horrid colds this winter - power smoothies, lots of stocks, some homeopathic and..sleep (aye, there's the rub!!!)

Ugh! Praying in sympathy and empathy. May your family experience a nice, long, sickness-free spell! Praying especially while dh is absent.
