This is really a small request in light of all the tremendous suffering. Maybe the fact that my heart is so heavy for all the grieving mothers is making my decision-making that much harder.
My sister-in-law's funeral is next Saturday in Florida. It is a 14 hr drive each way. We are scheduled to start our vacation in the Outer Banks the next day. Our options are to leave most of the kids with an aunt in NC and drive down, for me to fly down with dh and our toddler, or for me to fly down alone, leaving dh to get ready for the trip and take care of all the kids even my nursing toddler. Dh does not want me to fly with the toddler.
I just feel overwhelmed by it all. We had all assumed the funeral would have been this weekend. If that had been the case, we had friends who offered to watch the kids and we would have driven our hybrid Honda and it wouldn't have run into the vacation.
I feel guilty even fussing at all when I think of what my brother is going through. I just feel like I am juggling more than I am able.
I am offering all of my stress for Colleen, Nicole, Mary Ellen and Emily, as well as the other intentions of 4Real.
If you could just offer a quick prayer for us as we make the plans and as we travel, I would appreciate it. Thank you! &n bsp;

Oh, Molly, it isn't a small thing at all!!! I'm happy to pray as you discern. It's difficult to juggle!!! I know that the Holy Spirit will provide the necessary knowledge as you and your husband discern what is best for you and your family! May you be able to rest in peace with the decision that is made!
