My husband and sons have been out of town since Monday and so many things have gone wrong here at home. I could write a list! From almost being attacked in a blueberry patch, to loosing a huge check, to my car breaking down (we need a new one), to the key not working in our store door and couldn' t open the store for several hours. This is just to name a few.
I had someone tell me that the more you pray the more you will have this. that I should stop praying! Temptation came over me when the next occurrence happened. But I couldn't NOT pray! Life without trust in God to me is a life with no purpose...I told this person that. There is no other way but to pray.
I always come here for prayers and I don't know why it hasn't occurred to me until just now to come here for these needs. I almost feel like these happenings are supernatural in a way because it has been such a bizarre string of occurrences! My husband is calling them a series of mosquito bites.
Please pray for a safe trip home for our boys and my husband. Pray that we can be able to buy a car for our family (business is really tough)....and mostly for protection against all harm.

I know well the feeling you describe. I have found that when you push through and pray anyway that those times can be profoundly fruitful. Maybe the feeling like we need to go the other way and not pray at those moments are another one of (the one who deserves no name)'s tricks. Maybe it is the last ditch act to get us to stop doing or being peaceful because something graceful is about to happen...even it the graceful thing is just encouragement through the ick.
I will pray for your intentions today!...hang in there! We got your back
