Could you please lift me up in prayer today? I am so anxious about this baby that I'm afraid of bringing on an anxiety attack. There is nothing at all pointing towards anything being wrong and yet I can't get all these awful "what if" things out of my mind! I haven't felt him move yet and am worried about that even though everything I've read says with a first baby anytime after now is most likely. I'm not showing like I *think* I should be at 18 weeks. I've tried to hand my worry over to our Lady but am afraid I keep taking it back this just came upon me yesterday afternoon and I can't shake it. It made for a sleepless night and lots of tears.
I never realized how much you could love another person like this even though you haven't seen them yet.

Praying, Jen...it's normal to worry until you feel that first tiny flutter...asking our Blessed Mother to pray for you and your precious little one!

Oh - praying for you! We had a scare when the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat at 12 weeks...I had a lot of anxiety between that visit and an early ultrasound. After that, I had periods of worry until I felt the baby move (not until just before our "20 week' ultrasound at 18 weeks).
I kept reading this and praying for an increase in faith and trust.

Praying for you. Remember anxiety is NEVER from the Lord! Also, I am 20 weeks pregnant with #7 and honestly I rarely feel movement much before 22-24 weeks.

Thank you all for the prayers....they certainly helped!! And yesterday afternoon I felt a little flutter but me being in a state of anxiety didn't "believe" it. Then beginning last evening and lots more today there have been very unmistakable flutterings that my baby is kicking around in there! Such a wonderful feeling! Thank you all again for lifting me up in prayer I do appreciate it!

Oh, Jen...I missed this somehow!
to you...we've all been there during every pregnancy!!!!!
It is so hard to guard our thoughts from imagining the worst! It's something I have to get up and work on every single day - pregnant or not! Ask your guardian angel for help the next time the evil one attempts to tempt you away from peace. Ask your guardian angel to help you guard your thoughts and ask him as well to speak to the baby's guardian angel to prompt some movement! Get in the habit of saying a simple prayer every time your thoughts turn to "what-if"...I try to say, "Jesus, I trust in You." It's simple and short.
Prayers coming for you and this sweet one!

Praying, Jen - sorry I missed this before!
Many , I empathize with how hard anxiety can be, especially when pregnant.
