He sent this in an email to let everyone know they're on the road again...

We will be headed north to cooler country. According to my oncologist, the tumor which caused me all the problems this time has diminished slightly but not gone as we had hoped. If it remains at its current size, I will make a full-enough recovery from all the treatments once we are in a climate conducive to exercise. They frankly don't hold out much hope of it remaining at it's current size and think it will begin to grow again. That is the main reason for our trip to Oregon to see my children and grandchildren one last time. With any luck, I may last long enough to drop down into California to pay a final visit to friends, workampers and family still there. That will be in the fall before it gets too cold up in Oregon |

 but remember, we weren't sure he'd live past the treatment so while it doesn't sound good it's actually quite a bit better than we'd feared. So this is a bit of a Praise as well as a request for continued prayer especially for them traveling and dad to regain some of his strength so that he can enjoy his visits.

I've been wondering how he was doing, Jodie! Thanks for the update!
